Peak — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Peak ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Peak mobile game ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following categories of information:

• Player name (optional): Entered voluntarily when starting an online multiplayer game. This name is stored temporarily in the game session and is not linked to any account.
• Online game session data: When using the online multiplayer feature, game state data (board positions, move history, player turn) is stored in Firebase Realtime Database to enable real-time play. This data is not linked to any personal identifier.
• Analytics and crash data: The App uses analytics and crash reporting tools to understand how the game performs and where errors occur. This may include device type, operating system version, crash logs, and gameplay session data. No personally identifiable information is collected through this process.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Your real name, email address, or any contact information
• Location data
• Payment or financial information
• Contacts, photos, or files from your device

3. How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely for:

• Enabling online multiplayer gameplay
• Diagnosing crashes and improving game stability
• Understanding general usage patterns to improve the game

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Google Firebase (Realtime Database): Used for online multiplayer game sessions. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• Analytics / crash reporting: Used for stability monitoring.

5. Data Retention

Online multiplayer game session data is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity. Analytics and crash data is retained per the third-party provider's standard retention policies (typically 90 days for crash logs).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation, and name entry is optional and not stored beyond the current game session. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information beyond what is described in this policy, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any game session data associated with your display name by using our Data Deletion Request form. Since the App does not collect personal identifiers, we are unable to retrieve individual records without the display name used during play.

8. Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, please visit our Data Deletion Request page or email us directly at peak.strategy.official@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the display name you used in the app. We will process all requests within 7 days.

9. Security

Game session data is protected by Firebase security rules that restrict read/write access to active game participants only. We take reasonable precautions to protect the information described in this policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
